An objection was lodged by Jockey Danish Ali Khan the rider of BLADE OF OLYMPUS  placed second by the Judge against Jockey  Sameer Khan  the rider  of BLACK N PINK placed first by the Judge for “ taking me out and crossing my path from 200 mts onward to the winning post and blocking my passage thereafter not allowing me deliberate to ride out properly and that cost me a certain race.”. The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the race interviewed the Jockeys concerned and after deliberations, considering the opinion expressed by the Stipendiary Steward and based on the observation of the race the Stewards were satisfied that an alteration to the placings could be justified. Therefore, they decided to uphold the  objection and revised the order of placings as under:-

BLACK N PINK               SECOND
MISS FERRARI               THIRD
JAZBA                           FOURTH

Jockey Sameer Khan the rider of BLACK N PINK was questioned about his riding who stated that his mount drifted out in the last 200 mts  inspite of using the whip on the left  to control his mount as such trainer Bharat T Singh was advised to show his charge in one mock race to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Steward.

GOLDEN ROUTE was impounded for veterinary examination and the Club’s veterinary officer reported that there was no apparent abnormality.
