Permission was granted to Trainer Mr.Magan Singh to substitute Jockey Saddam Hussain  to ride DAZZLING WAVE in place of Jockey Dhanu Singh Deora the declared rider.

On a report from the Clerk of the  Scales that jockey K Narender Kumar the rider of INAZUMA placed third by the Judge “weighed in” excess of the declared weight that he weighed out for the above race. At the behest of the Stipendiary Steward the Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the race and examined the Clerk of the Scales and Jockey K Narender Kumar. After hearing their statements, considering the opinion expressed by the Stipendiary Steward the Stewards after deliberation resolved to disqaulify INAZUMA from the above race and revised the order of placings as under:-

                          MASTER STROKE           I
                          GENTLEWAVE                II
                          BHITSKI                          III
                          MISS BOLD                   IV

The Stewards continued their enquiry after the last race and examined   Jockey K Narender Kumar.

After hearing the Jockey’s explanations which was totally unconvincing, unsatisfactory and lacked credibility and considering the  opinion expressed by the  Stipendiary Steward,  the Stewards after deliberations  decided  to suspend  the Jockey’s Licence granted to  K Narender Kumar from riding in races from 10^th January 2015 to 10^th March 2015 (Both days inclusive) for weighing in  excess of the declared weight that he weighed out for the above race. He was not permitted to ride work during the period of his suspension and was advised  of his right of  appeal.            

Trainer I S Parmar was called in and questioned regarding the improved performance and the inconsistent pattern of running of his charge MASTER STROKE as compared to its last run in Race No.108 on 9^th December 2014 where it was unplaced.

Trainer I S Parmar explained that when it was ridden from the rear of the field, it was trying to lug in or out and prove difficult to ride out, hence this time he believed that the gelding runs better either leading or up towards the lead, hence he had instructions with a view to it racing to the lead.  However, while noting his explanations, Mr I S Parmar was reminded of the requirements to notify the Stipendiary Steward if a horse’s racing pattern  is to be markedly different to its recent starts.
