Jockey G S Shekhawat the rider of MISS VENUS reported that soon after jumping out of the starting gates his mount shifted to the left.

Jockey Akash Agarwal the rider of AL SAHIL reported that he could not get a clear run in the last 200 mts of the race because of the erratic movement of CASINO QUEEN (Shafeeq Ahmed). However, he was informed that since the horse had suffered from epistaxis he was given a benefit of  doubt of his riding.

Trainer A Saulez was called in and questioned regarding the improved performance of his charge KING OF PUNJAB as compared to its last run in 246 on 3rd April 2015 wherein it was unplaced. The trainer stated that:-

i)    This is the second run of his charge in its  carreer.
ii)    His charge just cleared its maidens as a 4 year old.
iii)    His charge was a roarer  for which he had got it operated from the Club’s veterinary hospital.
iv)    Last time it was accepted in a 1400 mts race and not performed as expected.
v)    This time he declared a jockey claiming 5 kg allowance
vi)    He was quite surprised with the positive  performance of his charge.
vii) His charge was available at longer odds

However noting his explanations, trainer A Saulez was  informed for the inconsistent running of his charge and reminded of the Racing Calendar Notification with respect to in and out running.

The Club’s Veterinary Officer reported that AL SAHAIL bled. In terms of RWITC Racing calendar notification the horse has been banned from racing for a stipulated period of 4 weeks (1st time bleeder)  Trainer S Ali Khan was advised a veterinary certificate of fitness would be required prior to presenting for future trial or race. Compulsory urine sample was taken from AL SAHAIL in the presence of Trainer S Ali Khan and sent for analytical test.
