Jockey Danish Ali Khan the rider of PRINCE ASCOT on questioning reported that his mount jumped out awkwardly thereby imbalancing him which is its regular habit and thereafter it was running very erratic throughout the race. Trainer K Ali Khan was called in and informed that this being the regular habit of his charge he has to take remedial measures before accepting with his charge in a race failing which the horse shall be recommended to be banned from racing at this centre.

Jockey Dansih Ali Khan the rider of PRINCE ASCOT was reprimanded for allowing his mount to shift in approaching 300 mts thereby inconveniencing TRUSTED MAN (Syed Asgar) on his inside.

Jockey Syed Asgar the rider of TRUSTED MAN was reprimanded for allowing his mount to shift out approaching 200 mts thereby inconveniencing  PRINCE ASCOT on his outside.

MORNING DEVOTION (R Parvesh) reared up as the start was effected thereby loosing sufficient grounds at the start. In view of its behaviour Trainer I S Parmar was informed not to accept with his charge until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Steward in one mock race on a race day on the race track.

App.Jockey Arman Ali Jafri the rider of JUZI was reprimanded for not maintain a straight course in the final stages of the race.

The Club’s Veterinary Officer reported that ELEGANT bled. In terms of RWITC Racing calendar notification the horse has been banned  from racing for a stipulated period of 4 weeks (1st time bleeder)  Trainer K P Singh  was advised a veterinary certificate of fitness would be required prior to presenting for future trial or race. Compulsory urine sample was taken from ELEGANT in the presence of  Trainer K P Singh and was sent for analytical test.

Trainer S Ali Khan and jockey Akash Agarwal were called in and questioned regarding the improved performance of  ATTITUDE as compared to its last run in Race No.197 THE ENSEMBLE PLATE.DIV.I. A HANDICAP FOR INDIAN HORSES RATED 1-26 (ABOUT) 1000 METRES on 16th February 2016 where it was unplaced when ridden by the same jockey. The matter was reported to the Stewards.

The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race and interviewed Trainer S Ali Khan and Jockey Akash Agarwal.

The trainer stated that:-

1)    ATTITUDE has a very terrible  gate manners, wherein its earlier races, it was banned and advised for mock races.
2)    Today he instructed the jockey to jump out well, position 4/5th and do his best which instructions were also imparted in its last run.
3)    He was quite satisfied with the behavior as well as the performance of the horse.
4)    The horse was not fancied, but was informed to the Jockey to ride flat out.

The Jockey stated that:-

1)    He was instructed to position 4/5th and do his best.
2)    In its last outing in Race No.197, the handler was holding the horse in the gates, hence it was behaving very restless. As the start was effected it jumped out awkwardly.
3)    Today he felt that the handler’s presence in the starting gates could distract its concentration, hence he requested his mount not to be held.
4)    As the start was effected, the horse jumped out well, rode according to instructions and the horse responded well.

However, while noting their explanations, considering the opinion expressed by the Stipendiary Steward and after due deliberations they decided to fine Trainer S Ali Khan a sum of Rs.10000/- for the inconsistent and improved performance of his charge ATTITUDE within a short period of time in Race No.200, as compared to its last run in Race No.197.

Having reviewed the race the next morning and scrutinizing the starter’s remark sheet, it was decided that the jockey must ask the trainer to write to the starter, what has to be the course of action henceforth.

The trainer was advised of his right to appeal.

Urine sample was taken from the winner ATTITUDE in the presence of  Trainer S Ali Khan  and was sent for analytical test.
