Racing Incidents

RIOS QUEEN (Gurpreet Singh) was very fractious in the starting gates.

BIG NEWS (S Lalit)  jumped awkwardly outwards from the starting gates  imbalancing the rider who was dislodged from his mount.

Jockey Gurpreet Singh the rider of RIOS QUEEN reported that soon after jumping out of the starting gates and after travelling some distance he had to check his mount to avoid running over Jockey S Lalit who was dislodged from his mount BIG NEWS.

Jockey V R Jagadeesh the rider of LOVELY BABY reported that from 400 mts of the race when he applied pressure his mount  drifted out and was trying to hang out  inspite of his best effort to  keep it on an even course. Trainer  H A Khan was advised to take remedial measures before accepting with it again in a race. The horses was impounded for veterinary examination and the Club’s Veterinary Officer reported  no apparent abnormality.

The Club’s Veterinary Officer reported that HE IS THE MAN had sustained a lacerated wound on face, eyes  after the race.

Urine sample was taken for analysis from the winner RIOS GIRL in the presence of Trainer K P Singh and sent for Analytical test.
