Permission was granted to Trainer I S Parmar to withdraw PASSION FLOWER ( R Parvesh).

Trainer Mallikarjun was cautioned for bringing his charge TAKE OVER TARGET (M Mani) late into the parade ring.

Jockey M.Mani the rider of TAKE OVER TARGET was fined Rs.2000/- for checking his mount soon after jumping out of the starting gates, thereafter for failing to sufficiently persevere with his mount.

Jockey Pawan Sharma the rider of GOLDEN INDIAN was severely reprimanded for riding an indifferent race, he was further informed that in view of him winning the race no action was taken failing which he would have been reported to the Stewards for severe disciplinary action.

Trainer Raj Kumar Saini was questioned regarding the inconsistent pattern of running thereby resulting in improved performance of his charge GOLDEN INDIAN as compared to it its last run in Race THE WELCOME TROPHY.A HANDICAP FOR INDIAN HORSES RATED 20-46  (ABOUT) 1000 METRES ON 9^TH September 2016 where it was unplaced. The trainer stated that:-

1. In Race No.5 his charge was running after a period of 4 months and in a field of 14 runners  it was drawn on wide out side wherein he had instructed the jockey to take a good jump and go to the front and do his best on entering the straight.
2. Since the pace of the race was quite fast his charge could not cope with the filed in the initial stages of the race.
3. However his charge was galloping wide and after eventually being able to gain cover the jockey managed to ride according to his instructions.
4. Today in the above race as  it was a small field of  6 runners he had  imparted similar instructions as its previous start to the jockey.
5. In the above race, his charge was racing keenly and with slower pace today, his charge went to the forward and found itself in a more forward position than as instructed and anticipated.

However the matter was reported to the Stewards for improved performance within a short span of time. The Stewards after deliberation decided to caution Trainer Raj Kumar Saini.

The Club’s Veterinary Officer reported that WANT TO LOVE returned lame on left  fore during the race. Trainer Raj Kumar Saini was advised a veterinary certificate of fitness would be required prior to presenting for future trial or race.

Urine sample was taken for analysis from the winner GOLDEN INDIAN in the presence of Trainer Raj Kumar Saini and sent for Analytical test.
