Trainer Magan Singh and Jockey C S Jodha were called in and questioned regarding the running and riding of GODSTOUCH. The trainer stated that:-

i)    He had instructed the jockey a take a good jump and do his best on entering the straight.
ii)    He further stated that the horse was slowly away from the Starting gates and immediately shifted in wherein the jockey made an effort to control and thereafter he rode out his mount.
iii)    He further stated that his charge is habitually slow off and other racing incidents which were recorded in the earlier races.
iv)    The jockey corroborating the trainers instructions stated that on jumping out his mount shifted in immediately and thereafter he controlled it and rode out his mount.
v)    His charge has got a very soft mouth, hence a rubber bit is being used.
vi)    The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and the Club’s Veterinary Officer reported it sustained an injury on right side of cheek. Trainer Magan Singh was advised a veterinary certificate of fitness would be required prior to presenting for future trial or race.

Urine sample was taken for analysis from the winner FAST LADY in the presence of Trainer  Magan Singh and sent for analytical test.
