CRIXUS (Rajinder Saini) planted as the start was effected and did not take no practical part in the race.  In view of its behavior Trainer Magan Singh  was informed not to accept with his charge until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Steward in one mock race on a race day on the race track.

Jockey Pawan Sharma the rider of GOLDEN MAGIC reported that as the start was effected his mount threw its head up.

Trainer Magan Singh and Jockey Dhanu Singh Deora were questioned regarding the running and riding of NEW YORK.  Trainer Magan Singh and Jockey Dhanu Singh stated that:-

i)    He had instructed the jockey to position 2nd/3rd and do his best on entering the straight.

ii)  After the race Jockey Dhanu Singh Deora stated that the saddle had slipped backward, hence he could not ride out to his caliber.

iii) He did check the saddle immediately alongwith the official after the Jockey dismounted wherein the saddle was intact but the surcingle had infact slightly shifted backwards.

iv) Jockey Dhanu Singh Deora confirmed the trainer’s instructions stated that soon after jumping out  of the starting gate and after passing some distance he felt that the saddle slipped back. Hence he could not follow the trainer’s instructions  but nevertheless he rode out his mount but not fully
    to his caliber.

The equipment was examined and found to have intact but the surcingle has been slightly shifted backwards.
However noting down their explanations Jockey Dhanu Singh Deora was given the benefit of doubt at this instance.

Trainer Srataj Singh on questioning regarding the improved performance of his charge TERMSANDCONDITONS as compared to its last run in Race.10 THE NANDAN PLATE. A HANDICAP FOR INDIAN HORSES RATED 40-66  (ABOUT)  1000 MTS on 19th September 2017 ridden by  App Jockey Shaliyar Khan it was unplaced. The Trainer stated that:-

i)    In its last outing which was the first run of the season wherein Jockey Shailyar Khan after jumping out could not settled his charge.
ii)    Jockey Shaliyar Khan is very much inexperienced and a medicore jockey.
iii)    His charge  had benefited by a run in Race No.10 and had 200 mts extra to travel.
iv) Today he had declared a much superior jockey and it was on longer odds and just fancied the horse to run a  much better race.

His explanations was noted.

Urine sample was taken for analysis from the winner TERMSANDCONDITIONS  and under the orders from the Stewards failed favourite NEW YORK in the presence of Trainer Sartaj Singh and Magan Singh and were sent for analytical test.
