Racing Incidents

On a request from Trainer S Ali Khan, AL MAISHA was examined at 10.00 a.m. on 2nd January 2018 and was found to be male by its right hind leg. As such the mare was certified unfit to race and was withdrawn on veterinary grounds. The Trainer has been asked to obtain a veterinary certificate of fitness prior to presenting his charge for future trial or race.

Jockey G S Shekhawat (BLACK SWAN) reported that his mount put his head to left side and then took a fly jump thereby losing considerable ground at the start which had placed his mount at a disadvantage in obtaining a good position.

Jockey T S Jodha (TOP BRASS) reported that approaching 900 metres, his mount was unbalanced for a few strides when crowded.

Jockey Narain Singh (MIDLEXESS) has been reprimanded for travelling wide throughout the race for no apparent reason.

The Club’s Veterinary Officer reported that BLACK SWAN had sustained a cut injury on its left fore leg. Trainer Magan Singh has been asked to obtain a veterinary certificate of fitness prior to presenting for future trial or race.

Urine sample was taken from the winner,TOP BRASS, for analytical test.
