BLAVATSKY was examined at the start by the Club’s VO and was found to be exhausted and appeared in shock, as such, was withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders. As a consequence of BLAVATSKY being withdrawn, a deduction of 20% on win and 50% on place bets was affected. 

At the start, GREY TIGER (Praveen Saini) was converged upon as AL QARAM (R Rakesh) jumped awkwardly inwards and PATIALA PEG (Muzammil Hashmi) jumped awkwardly outwards. 
WHAT A NICE MAN (Naresh Kumar) jumped out awkwardly. 

Soon after the start, LOVEABLE (Sameer Khan) shifted in sharply before the Red Marker, as such, Jockey Sameer Khan has been severely reprimanded.

Jockey R Parvesh (AMAZING MIRACLE) has been fined Rs.5,000/- for not sufficiently persevering with his mount in the straight. 

Trainer HA Khan and Jockey Syed Asgar were questioned regarding the running and riding of THINK ABOUT ME. The instructions were to be in a comfortable position as the gelding could be in and to do his best in the straight. It was put to the Jockey that he was in good position after the start and between 800 metres and 600 metres, he had ridden his mount in check and did not let the gelding race freely thereby losing his position and in the straight his riding was feeble, though the gelding had finished 3rd. The Trainer was satisfied with the Jockey’s riding effort. As the explanation of the Trainer and the Jockey was not found satisfactory both, Trainer HA Khan and Jockey Syed Asgar, have been fined Rs.5,000/- each for unsatisfactory running and riding of THINK ABOUT ME. 

An enquiry has been initiated in to the running and riding of GREY TIGER and improved performance of LOVEABLE.
