Passing 200 metres, WORDLY (Sandeep Rajput) shifted out and went across FIRST SELECTION (R Yousaf). Jockey Sandeep Rajput has been cautioned. After the race, WORDLY was found to be lame by his right fore leg. Trainer Irfan Ali has been asked to obtain a veterinary certificate of fitness prior to his charge being presented for any future trial or race.
At the start, BLESSED ASSURANCE(Syed Asgar) was slowly away and lost about 4 lengths. Trainer S Nawab has been asked to give sufficient gate practice before next accepting to race. Jockey Syed Asgar (BLESSED ASSURANCE) was observed to have used his whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount. This being his 3RD offence with regard to the use of the whip during the current Delhi Meeting, the matter has been reported to the Stewards.
