On the day of the Declarations i.e. after the Acceptance Stage, Trainer Magan Singh reported that he had forgotten to apply for Blinkers on his charge ITS ON. The Trainer informed that the filly behaves very badly with a Rider on her and when she is without the Blinkers. He added that it’s a 3- year-old and the filly’s first run and he feared for her safety as well as that of the other horses and also the Jockey. The Stipendiary Stewards reluctantly asked the Trainer to show the horse to them in the Paddock to ascertain the behavior of the horse with a Jockey.

When the Jockey mounted the filly in the Paddock, she played up violently and in the process dislodged its Rider. In view of the dangerous behavior exhibited by the filly and after having reported the matter to the Stewards, the Trainer was permitted to apply Blinkers on ITS ON. However, since the filly needed the equipment so critically and the Trainer forgot to apply for the Blinkers, he has been fined Rs.5,000/- for his lapse.

Near 900 metres, MANIKARNIKA (SG Prasad) was eased off the heels of LOVE GALORE (Jai Parkash).

Approaching 800 metres, MIDNIGHT HAWK (R Rakesh) shifted in suddenly and went across MANIKARNIKA (SG Prasad) who was checked. Jockey reported that his mount was inclined to lean in and brushed the rails during the race also, which could not be ascertained from the Patrol Video. Trainer Rajinder has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race. Further, Jockey R Rakesh has been cautioned for his tender handling of his mount.

MASTER WINX (Ankit Pal) trailed the field. Trainer Mohsin Khan has been asked to ensure that the gelding race with the field.
