Racing Incidents

Jockey Abdul Fazal, the declared Rider for RAIN FOREST, was injured and Trainer Magan Singh requested for Jockey Shrikant Kamble as the replacement. Trainer Magan Singh informed that there was no other Jockey available to ride RAIN FOREST at the published weight. The Trainer was informed that both the Jockeys were not of near equal caliber. The Trainer was given the option to withdraw the horse which the Trainer declined. The matter was reported to the Stewards. After deliberations and keeping all the circumstances in mind, the Stewards permitted the change of Jockey as requested by the Trainer.

Jockey Naresh Kumar (JET RAFLE) was fined Rs.3,000/- for using his whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount. (1st offence).

An enquiry has been initiated in to the running and riding of NICHE STORM.
