PEARL (Abdul Fazal) was very fractious and refused to be loaded as such was withdrawn before coming under starters orders. Trainer A Khan has been asked to give sufficient gate practice to the satisfaction of the Starter before next accepting to race.

At the start, PONTY ROSSA (N Tauseef Ahmed) was slowly away.

Jockey Kundan Paswan (ASHWA SABIRA) reported that the iron of his right stirrup broke at the start whereby he could not ride out his mount at all during the race.

Jockey Rajinder Saini (DIL MANGEY MORE) reported that his whip got entangled with his reins during the race.

Jockey GS Shekhawat (ASHWA MUDRIKA) was questioned with regard to his riding effort on his mount in the straight and after having viewed the video recording of the race and having heard him, the Stipendiary Stewards were not being satisfied with his explanation, he has been fined Rs.3,000/- for failing to sufficiently persevere with his mount. He has been warned for the future.
 
After the race, SAINT broke a blood vessel (1st time) and has been stopped from racing for a stipulated period of 4 weeks and until passed fit to race by the Club’s Veterinary Officer. Trainer A Khan has been asked to obtain a veterinary certificate of fitness prior to presenting his charge for any future trial or race.
