Racing Incidents

At the start, QUEEN OF THE SKY (G.S. Shekhawat) lost couple of lengths.
Trainer Rajinder was asked to show his charge in a mock race to the satisfaction of the starter before next accepting to race.

Jockey Ishwar Singh (JET RAFLE) was fined Rs. 2000/- for persisting in using his whip from right hand inspite of his horse shifting out in the straight.

Jockey Arjun (FARGO) reported that his saddle slipped forward during the race and he was unbalanced due to which he could not ride out.
Trainer H. Ali Khan was fined Rs. 2000/- for faulty saddling on his charge (FARGO). (1st Offence)

On being questioned, trainer Rajinder (DIVIT) stated that since it was a 1400 meters race he had instructed the jockey to sit 4/5th and do his best in the straight. He was informed that his charge relish running in a forward position and has always performed well. He also failed to inform the Stipendiary Stewards about the change in instructions before the race.

Hence Trainer Rajinder was fined Rs 5000/- for Inconsistent Instructions between runs and was cautioned for future.
