Racing Incidents

At the start, ASHWA MAITHLI (Ranjeet Singh) lost about a length.

The veterinary officer of the club reported that EYES ON THE PRIZE was examined on 20 March 2023 and was found to be lame by its left fore leg, as such was withdrawn on veterinary grounds. Trainer Rajinder has been asked to obtain a veterinary certificate of fitness before presenting his charge for any future trial or race.

Jockey Syed Asgar (GOLD GRAY) was fined Rs. 5000/- for travelling wide throughout the race for no apparent reasons and Trainer Mallikarjun was fined Rs. 5,000/- for unsatisfactory running of the horse.

After the race GOLD GRAY was observed to have an injury on right fore knee. Trainer Mallikarjun has been asked to obtain a veterinary certificate of fitness prior to his charge being presented for any future trial or race.
