Racing Incidents

The veterinary officer of the club reported that BOB CHAMP was examined on 16.04.2023 and was found to be lethargic and not taking feed and Swelling on neck, as such was withdrawn on veterinary grounds. Trainer S Nawab has been asked to obtain a veterinary certificate of fitness before presenting his charge for any future trial or race.

At the start, QUEEN OF THE SKY (Akash Rajput) lost about two lengths.

On being questioned regarding improved performance of his charge ELIMINATOR, Trainer I.S. Parmar stated that in the previous race his horse had lost over four lengths at the start, therefore the gelding could not cope up with the pace of the race and therefore ran unplaced. After watching the replay of the previous race no. 219, his explanation was noted.

Jockey Abdul Fazal (INTENSE APPROACH) reported that his horse did not respond to his urgings.

After the race, INTENSE APPROACH was found to be lame by its left fore leg. Trainer Zulfiqar Khan was asked to obtain a veterinary certificate of fitness before presenting his charge for any future trial or race.
