Racing Incidents

At the start, ASHWA FALISTA (G S Shekhawat) was withdrawn before coming under the starters order as the horse was very fractious and refused to be loaded.
 
Trainer A.Khan has been asked to give a sufficient gate practice before accepting next to race.

An objection was lodged by Jockey Naresh Kumar (BEAT GOES ON) Placed 4th by the judge against Jockey Shaliyar Khan (ALEX) placed 2nd by the judge for “for coming IN approaching 600 meters, blocked my passage due to which I had to check my mount and thereafter shifting OUT near 200 meters due to which my mount got disturbed and that cost him a certain place.

The Stewards interviewed the jockeys concerned and having heard the submission made by the Stipendiary Stewards and relying on their own judgment of the race the Stewards decided to overrule the objection and maintain the placing as declared by the judge.

Jockey Shaliyar Khan (ALEX) was fined Rs 3000/- for keeping an erratic course in the straight under use of the whip.
