The Veterinary Officer of the Club reported that SNOW SHOWER was examined on 15th January 2024, at 10:15 am and found to be lame by its left fore leg, as such was withdrawn on veterinary grounds. Trainer Imdad Ali Khan has been asked to obtain a certificate of fitness before presenting his charge for any future trial or race.

At the start, QUEEN OF AZEEM (Faizan Khan) and GAMA (Deepak Kr) both were slowly away.

An objection was lodged by Jockey M B Qureshi (ASHWA SIGMA) placed 3rd by the judge against App. jockey Arjun (BURNING DESIRE) placed 1st by the judge “for coming IN sharply, crossing me badly and causing a severe interference between 300 to 200 meters due to which I had to stop riding and that cost me a certain race.

The Stewards interviewed the jockey concerned and having heard the submission made by the Stipendiary Stewards and relying on their own judgement of the race the Stewards decided to overrule the objection.

After the last race App. jockey Arjun was interviewed by the Stewards and not being satisfied with his explanation held him guilty of Careless Riding and decided to suspend his license for two race day w.e.f 5th February to 13th February 2024 (Both days inclusive).

Trainer H Ali Khan was imposed a statutory fine of Rs 10000/- for improved performance of his charge BURNING DESIRE within a short span of time.

After the race, TESORO (Lalkar Singh) was observed to have a cut injury on right coronet. Trainer Mohsin Khan has been asked to obtain a veterinary certificate of fitness prior to his charge being presented for any future trial or race.
