At the start, DARING DIVA (Vivek G) lost about a length.

At the start, MISSEY BOY (Mohit Singh) reared up and lost about two length.

On being questioned regarding Running & Riding of ROYAL BABY Trainer Mohsin Khan stated that he had instructed Jockey that if horseon its own goes to front its okay other wise sit 4/5th and when asked about his observation of the racehe stated that in the early part jockey allowed thefront runner to take along lead otherwise hewas satisfied with the jockey riding.

When question Jockey R Yousaf stated that he was instructed to sit 3/4th and do his best in the straight.

Replay of the race was shown to Trainer and Jockey and it was pointedout that jockey R Yousaf has not madeefforts in theearly part toenable positionand for no apparent reasonhewas holding thehorse at about 800 metersdue to which the horses travelling behind were inconvenienced and in the straight his riding was feeble and at about 200 meters he hadagood opening on the inside rails but he opted to travel behindthe front runnersfor no apparent reason,and thereafterhis riding was not vigorous.

Not being satisfied with their explanation both were presented before the Stewards after the last race.

The Stewards interviewed trainer Mohsin Khan and Jockey R Yousaf and having heard the submission made by the Stipendiary Stewards and after viewing the race recording were not satisfied with their explanation and decided:

1.To fine a sum of Rs 20,000/-to Trainer Mohsin Khan for Unsatisfactory running of his charge ROYAL BABY.

Both were reminded of their right to appeal.

2.Suspend jockey R Yousaf license for eight race days w.e.f 29.03.24 to 26.04.24 (both days inclusive) for unsatisfactory riding (permitted to ride work).

After the race, JUGGAAD (Angad) was observed to have broken a blood vessel and is not fit to race for a stipulated period of 8weeks(2ndtime). Trainer Mallikarjun has been asked to obtain a veterinary certificate of fitness prior to his charge being presented for any future trial or race.

Veterinary examination of TAKE A GAMBLE revealed no apparent abnormality.
