Racing Incidents

The veterinary officer of the club reported that ASHWA YUDVIR was examined on 4thApr 2024 at 8:20 pm and was found to be suffering from Colic, as such was withdrawn on veterinary grounds. Trainer S Nawab has been asked to obtain a veterinary certificate of fitness before presenting his charge for any future trial or race.

At the start, PROPERLY POSH (Angad) took a flyjump.

Jockey Angad (PROPERLY POSH) was severely cautioned for shifting out negotiating the bend at 600 meters bytapping the horse from right side.

On being questioned regarding poor performance of EYES ON THE PRIZE in race no.193 Trainer Rajinder stated that he had instructed App. Jockey varun to sit 5/6 and dohis best in the straightas she has always performed better when settled back in mid bunchbut he went to the front and she fizzled out in the final 200 meters. The Owner was also unhappy with his riding. In this race I strictly told him to sit 5/6. App. Jockey Varun confirmed the instructions given and stated that in race no 193 she went tofront on her own without his efforts and hedidn’t want to pull her back to take desired position as it was an1100 meters race.Their statement was noted.
