Racing Incidents

At the start, MISS MARMALADE (Riazuddin) reared up and lost about three lengths.Trainer S Ali Khan has been asked to give sufficient gate practice before accepting next to race.

Jockey M B Qureshi (ASHWA SAMIRA) reported loss of whip at about 1000 meters. (1stincident)

Trainer I S Parmar and Jockey R Parvesh were questioned regarding running and riding of TOMORROWS DREAMS.

Not being satisfied with theirexplanationtheywere reported tothe Stewards after the last race.

The Stewards considered the submission made by the Stipendiary Stewards and having viewed the video recording of the race and having heard Trainer Ishwar Parmar and jockey R Parvesh were not satisfied with their explanation and decided to:

1.Fine a sum of Rs5000/-to Trainer IS Parmar for unsatisfactory explanation.

2.Fine a sum of Rs 5000/-to jockey R Parvesh for Incompetent riding.Both were reminded of their right to appeal.

After the race, ASHWA MAGADHEERA (G S Shekhawat) was found to be lame by its rightfore leg. Trainer S Nawab has been asked to obtain a veterinary certificate of fitness before next accepting to race.Veterinary examination of TOMORROWS DREAMS revealed no apparent abnormality.
