Racing Incidents

At the start, GUARNERIUS (Jai Parkash) took aflying jump.

At about 450 meters SIR RAMON broke down and fell, dislodgingJockey R Parvesh. After Veterinary examination and with the consent of Trainer I S Parmar the gelding was euthanized on humane ground as both his fetlock joint had fractured.

On being questioned Jockey Jai Parkash (GUARNERIUS) stated that he was instructed to sit 3/4thand do his best in the straight.

Trainer H Ali Khan confirmedhis instruction to the Jockey and stated he was not satisfied with the Jockeysriding ashe hadnot taken proper jump anddid not follow his instructions.

JockeyJai Parkash stated that the horse reared up at the start and thereafter he has done his best.

Not being satisfied with the explanation of jockey Jai Parkash he was fined Rs.15,000/-for unsatisfactory riding and warned for future.
