Racing Incidents
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. C D Monnappa to withdraw SETTLE THE SCORE (D Gnaneshwar) on veterinary grounds, as it was lame on left fore. He was informed to produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club`s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Md. Sajid Qureshi to substitute Jockey Harish to ride his charge, BERKLEY SQUARE, in place of Jockey Vivek, the declared rider. As Jockey J H Christopher was certified medically unfit to ride after his ride in the Eighth Race, permission was granted to Trainer Mr. M B Mangalorkar to substitute Jockey Imran Chisty to ride his charge, SNEAK PREVIEW, in place of Jockey J H Christopher, the declared rider. Jockey Ranjeet Singh the rider of INDIAN TECH was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (first infringement). Permission was granted to Trainers, M/s.S Britto, and Bipin V Salvi to deputize on behalf of Trainers, M/s.S Dominic and G T Surender / N A Ponnappa resp
