Racing Incidents
Jockey Ramandeep S Bal the rider of MUCH MORE was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (first infringement). Trainer Mr. T.Natraj was fined Rs.500/- for failing to produce the declared colours at the scales in respect of his charge, CHAMCHA IN CHIEF (D.Mahendran). Subsequently, All Black emergency colours were permitted to be used. Jockey N.Tauseef Ahmed the rider of SUPER CHIEFTAN reported that he lost his whip approaching 300 Metres. HALEY`S COMET (S.Chandrashekar) drifted out under pressure in the final stages of the race. HALEY`S COMET (S.Chandrashekar) returned lame on right fore. Trainer Mr. T.Natraj was informed to produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club`s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. PERTINENT (Vijay Kumar) whipped around soon after the jump out and did not take part in the race.
