Jockey N Rajesh the rider of DIAMOND HUNTER was fined Rs.3,000/- for losing position between 900 Metres and 600 Metres for no apparent reason.

It was observed that Jockey N Rajesh the rider of DIAMOND HUNTER lost his whip, approaching the 400 Metres.

It was reported after the race that FLASH FLARES (Md. Sameer) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. C V G K Kishore was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Trainer Mr. Rakesh was questioned regarding the improved performance of his charge RIVER RULE (S. Mubarak) in the above race as compared to its previous run in Race No.54, i.e. The Kanchanganga Plate-(About) 1600 Metres, for horses rated 60 & above on 22^nd June 2011 when ridden by Jockey Himanshu it ran unplaced. The trainer stated that (a) in the last run the horse running in a lower category was carrying the top weight; (b) despite his instructions to keep it in 3^rd/4^th position as his charge was keen, Jockey Himanshu kept in a 2^nd position when the pace of the race was fast whereby his charge ran in a forward position till about 300 Metres and later ran unplaced over 1600 Metres; (c) today over 1400 Metres in a race for horses rated 80 and above carrying a weight of 50.5 Kgs with an apprentice Jockey his charge from behind took the shortest route along the rails and came out and won; and (d) because of its poor performance in its last run he did not give it much of a chance as could be seen from the favouritism enjoyed by it in the race. His explanations were noted.
