Racing Incidents
Trainer Mr. Dinesh Pujar was fined Rs.500/- for failing to produce the declared colours at the scales in respect of his charge, MAXIMUM CITY (S Selvaraj). Subsequently, All Black emergency colours were permitted to be used. It was reported after the race that MAXIMUM CITY (S. Selvaraj) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. Dinesh Pujar was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. Jockey N. Rajesh, the rider of GOLDEN TRICKS, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to HAKUNA MATATA (B. Sreekanth) which in turn passed it on to TIME FLIES (Amyn Merchant) on his inside approaching the 1000 Metres. Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from b f KHWAISH. KHWAISH (Himanshu) Was slowly away and lost about two lengths. An enquiry has been opened into the running and riding of KHWAISH trained by Mr. Rakesh and ridden by Jockey Himanshu. The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey Himanshu, the rider of KHWAISH to the Stewards for Unsatisfactory Riding (Rule No.161(ii) of the BTC Rules of Racing in the above race and trainer Mr. Rakesh for his misconduct towards the rider at the weighing room after the race thereby contravening Rule NO.114(b)(ii) of the BTC Rules of Racing. The Stewards held an enquiry on 8^th August 2011, and examined Trainer Mr. Rakesh and Jockey Himanshu. After deliberations, they decided to (a) Suspend the Jockey’s License granted to Jockey Himanshu from 18-08-2011 to 23-09-2011 (both days inclusive) for Unsatisfactory Riding (Rule No.161(ii) of the BTC Rules of Racing on his mount KHWAISH in the above race (permitted to ride work) and (b) Fine Trainer Mr. Rakesh a sum of Rs.10,000/- for his misconduct towards the rider at the weighing room after the race thereby contravening Rule NO.114(b)(ii) of the BTC Rules of Racing. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- BREATHALYSER TEST No.of Riders tested : Ten Result : Negative ----------------------- No. of Races : 9 No. of Runners : 101 Average Runners per Race : 11.2
