Racing Incidents

Trainer Mr. Neil Darashah was fined Rs.500/- for not using tongue strap on his charge, NADIA (P S Chouhan) for the use of which permission had been obtained. Subsequently, Tongue Strap was put on before the horse left the Paddock.

 

STAR GLEAM (Afsar Khan) planted and did not take part in the race. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. J Sharavanan was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.

 

Jockey P S Chouhan, the rider of NADIA, reported that his mount was running green throughout the race.

 

Jockey Ladjadj Stephane, the rider of ABRACADABRA, was fined Rs.3,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (2nd infringement).

 

ROSE OF TEXAS (J Paswan) sustained cut injury on left hind outer pastern.

 

COOL BREEZE (S Mubarak) – Stumbled while jumping out.
