Racing Incidents

As Jockey P S Chouhan the declared rider of HOCKENHEIM could not arrive to fulfill his riding engagement, permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Darius R Byramji to substitute Jockey Neeraj Rawal to ride HOCKENHEIM in place of the declared rider.

KHWAISH (B Sreekanth) planted, lost many lengths and ran detached thereafter. In view of its behavior, Trainer Mr. Rakesh was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a Race Day on the race track.

Jockey M A Gallagher the rider of SOUTHERN BAY was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (first infringement).

AT THE HELM (Y S Srinath) sustained bruises on both chest wall.

LOVELY KISS (Suraj Narredu) was impounded for veterinary examination and was found to have pulled up lame on right fore due to sprained shoulder.  Trainer Mr. Samar Singh was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Compulsory Samples were taken for analysis from the I, II & III placed horses viz:
