Trainer Mr. Rakesh was fined Rs.5,000/- for the discrepancy in shoeing in respect of his charge BLACK DARLING (Md. Sameer)  (1^st infringement).

Trainer Mr. M. Bobby was fined Rs.1,000/- for failing to produce the declared colours at the scales in respect of his charge LITTLE ATHENA.  Subsequently `all black’ emergency colours were permitted to be used.

Trainer Mr. Z. Darashah was fined Rs.1,000/- for not using tongue strap in respect of his charge ALABAMA for which permission had already been obtained. Subsequently tongue strap was put on the horse  before it left the paddock.

The Stipendiary Stewards reported Trainer Mr. Pratap M Kamath to the Stewards for contravention of Calendar Notification under the heading “saddling of horses” read with Rule No.114(b)(i) of the BTC Rules of Racing in respect of his charge ESOTERICAL (Janardhan Paswan) in that the saddle shifted back badly within the first 100 Metres of the start  and shifted towards left side of  the quarter and as such the rider could not offer further assistance during the race. The Stewards held an enquiry  after the last race and examined Trainer Mr. Pratap M Kamath After deliberations, they decided to fine him a sum of Rs.20,000/- for contravention of Calendar Notification under the heading “saddling of horses” read with Rule No.114(b)(i) of the BTC Rules of Racing in respect of  his charge ESOTERICAL (Janardhan Paswan) in the above race.

BIGHERO (M. Madhu Babu) sustained cut injuries on right hind inside hock.
