Racing Incidents
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. C D Monnappa to withdraw CATAPULT on veterinary grounds as it was found to have sustained deep cut below left ear. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. 
 
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. P C Tejaswi to withdraw SUN RICH on veterinary grounds as it was found to be trotting lame on left fore due to shoulder lameness. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. 
 
Jockey J H Christopher, the rider of PERFECT SPEED, was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting ‘in’ and causing interference to BRIGADE’S PASSION (P Mani) on his inside, approaching the 1000 Metres. 
 
Jockey Ryan Marshall, the rider of SMART EDITION, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting ‘out’ and causing interference to SOUTHERN PEARL (Suraj Narredu) on his outside, approaching the 1000 Metres. 
 
Jockey Mudassar Nazar, the rider of THUNDER, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting ‘out’ and causing interference to SMART EDITION (Ryan Marshall) on his outside in the final 100 Metres of the Race. 
 
Jockey J H Christopher, the rider of PERFECT SPEED, was fined Rs.3,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the Race (second infringement). 
 
Jockey P. Mani, the rider of BRIGADE’S PASSION, placed Fourth by the Judge, objected against Jockey J H Christopher, the rider of PERFECT SPEED, placed Second for “tightening and cutting across within the first 150 Metres, thereby, I had to check my horse. My horse stopped galloping as he was carrying 60 Kgs on his back, which has cost me a certain Race”. The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the Race and examined Jockeys P Mani and J H Christopher. After deliberations, they decided to overrule the objection. 
 
It was reported after the Race that DASHING BOY (Mohammed Shoaib) pulled up lame on right fore. Trainer Mr. M Bobby, deputizing for Trainer Mr. Mahmood Khan, was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
