Racing Incidents
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar to withdraw ANOTHER VOICE on veterinary grounds as it was found to have burst its blood vessels. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. 
 
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Warren Singh to withdraw SHE’S A LADY on veterinary grounds as it was found to be trotting lame on right fore due to sprained knee. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
 
ARGENTUM (S. Shiva Kumar) took a fly jump and lost few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. G.T. Surender was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one jump out on a starting gate practice day. 
 
Jockey Vivek, the rider of MELLONSDELIGHT, placed Second by the Judge objected  against Jockey S Mubarak, the rider of RIVER GEM, placed First, for “from the 350 Metres, the winner came on to me severely when I was about to pass, whereby my horse shifted and I had to check my mount and change the course, which cost me a certain race”. The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the Race and examined the Jockeys concerned. After deliberations, they decided to overrule the objection. 
 
Jockey S. Mubarak, the rider of RIVER GEM, was fined Rs.2,000/- for not maintaining a straight course in the final 250 Metres of the race. 
 
BID FOR GLORY (J. Paswan) sustained bruises on left hind hock. 
 
SOUND BET (S. Ramesh) sustained cut over right hind inner bulb of heel.
