Jockey K.P.G. Appu, the rider of BLUES AND ROYALS reported that his mount was inclined to run ‘out’ throughout the race. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. However, trainer Mr. Rakesh was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

Jockey M Rajesh Kumar, the rider of COUNT ROYAL, reported that his mount was hanging ‘out’ after entering the straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. However, Trainer Mr. G T Surender was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

Jockey S. Shiva Kumar, the rider of ARTISAN, was reprimanded for riding an indifferent race.

The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey K P G Appu, the rider of BLUES AND ROYALS, to the Stewards for contravention of Rule No. 144(b) of the BTC Rules of Racing pertaining to the use of body protector. The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race and examined Jockey K P G Appu. After deliberations, they decided to suspend the Jockey’s Licence granted to Jockey K P G Appu from 24- 11-2012 to 5-12-2012 (both days inclusive) for contravention of Rule No. 144(b) of the BTC Rules of Racing pertaining to the use of Body Protector on his mount, BLUES AND ROYALS, in the above Race.
