Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. M Bobby to withdraw WYCHHAEL on veterinary grounds as it was found to be lame on left fore due to shoulder sprain. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Trainer Mr. Feroz M Khan was fined Rs.1,000/- for not using Tongue Strap on his charge, DIFFERENT OPINION (R Vaibhav), for the use of which prior permission had been obtained. Subsequently, Tongue Strap was put on the horse before it left the Paddock.

Jockey Sarvan Kumar, the rider of LAKE OF FORTUNE, was fined Rs.3,000/- for coming ‘in’ and causing interference to MAVERICAL (Afsar Khan) on his inside, which, in turn, passed it onto SON OF THE SUN (V R Jagdeesh) along the rails, which had to be badly checked by its rider, passing the 1000 Metres.

Jockey V R Jagdeesh, the rider of SON OF THE SUN, reported that he lost his whip, approaching the 300 Metres.

Jockey Afsar Khan, the rider of MAVERICAL, reported that he lost his whip, approaching the 250 Metres.

Jockey R. Vaibhav, the rider of DIFFERENT OPINION, reported that his mount was hanging out throughout the race. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and the Club’s Veterinary Officer reported that it was found to have sharp molars. Hence Trainer Mr. Feroz M Khan was fined Rs.3,000/- for his negligence. 

SON OF THE SUN (V R Jagdeesh) sustained cut injury on left fore outer cannon.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner, b m LAKE OF FORTUNE.
