Trainer Mr. T Natraj was fined a total sum of Rs.2,000/- for using Cross Nose Band on his charge, PERSIAN (N Tauseef Ahmed) without prior permission and for not using Dexter Ring Bit, for which prior permission had been obtained. Subsequently, Cross Nose Band was removed before the horse left the Paddock and due to non-availability of Dexter Ring Bit, the horse was permitted to run with normal bit.

NAPOLEAN DYNAMITE (Bhanu Pratap Singh) reared up as the gates opened and lost many lengths at the start.
