Racing Incidents
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. S Santosh Rao [deputizing for Trainer Mr. T Natraj] to substitute Jockey Shivnath Paswan to ride his charge, SOUTHERN PEARL, in place of the declared rider. 
 
Jockey S Mubarak, the rider of WORLD IS TOOMUCH, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the Race (first infringement).
 
Jockey Shivnath Paswan, the rider of SOUTHERN PEARL, was reprimanded in the presence of Trainer Mr. S Santosh Rao [deputizing for Trainer Mr. T Natraj] for riding an indifferent Race. He was further informed that a repetition of similar manner of riding would entail him being reported to the Stewards for severe disciplinary action.
 
Jockey Kavraj Singh, the rider of RICH ROGUE, reported that his mount was hanging 'out' after entering the straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and on examination of the horse, the Club's Veterinary Officer reported that it was found to have sharp molars. Hence, Trainer Mr. M Bobby was fined Rs.3,000/- for his negligence (first infringement). 
 
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner, ch g PROST.
