As Jockey D Gnaneshwar, the declared rider of DIVINE DELIVERANCE, was certified medically unfit to ride, permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Dinesh Pujar to substitute Jockey Irvan Singh to ride DIVINE DELIVERANCE in place of the declared rider.

SECRET MISSILE (P Uday Kiran) planted and lost a few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. M Bobby was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a Race Day on the race track.

GRAND APPLAUSE (Arshad Alam), after entering the straight, ran very erratically, drifted 'out' despite the efforts of the rider, thereby, causing interference to the horses on its outside, viz., FLYING TRICOLOUR (M Kumar) and VIOLENT STORM (P Trevor), approaching the 300 Metres, and  completed the last 100 Metres of the Race on the outer Sand Track. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported by the Club's Veterinary Officer. However, Trainer Mr. S Dominic was informed to take appropriate corrective measures and not to accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a Race Day on the race track.

It was reported after the Race that the left fore shoe of GRAND APPLAUSE (Arshad Alam) had apparently come off, during the Race.
