Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. P C Tejaswi to withdraw HARD TO PIN DOWN on veterinary grounds as it was observed to be suffering from infection and fever. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

CADOGAN (B Harish) was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter's Orders as it got cast in the Gates and sustained injury on right fore pastern. Trainer Mr. R Mallikarjuna was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

SIMPLETON (Irvan Singh) was slowly away and lost many lengths at the start. Trainer Mr. P C Tejaswi was questioned as to the poor performance of his charge DANCE WITH ME (Janardhan Paswan), in the presence of the rider. The trainer stated that he himself was shocked at its poor performance and said that he could not understand the reason, there for. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. The horse was impounded for Surprise Sampling. As the horse did not oblige till about 8.00 pm, the sampling was abandoned. Trainer Mr. P C Tejaswi was informed to ensure consistency in the running of his charges.
