Jockey Y S Srinath, the rider of NEW WORLD, placed second by the Judge, lodged an objection against Keanen G Steyn, the rider of DAYLITE, placed 1st by the Judge, for "crossing me more than once from the 400 Metres whereby, he shifted "out" and suddenly when the gap opened up, he shifted "in" and squeezed me and in the process, I had passed on the interference to FLAMBOYANCE (P S Chouhan). This cost me a certain Race". A second objection was lodged by Jockey P P Dhebe, the rider of FLASH DRIVE, placed fourth by the Judge against Jockey Arshad Alam, the rider of CLASS IS CLASS, placed third by the Judge, for "in the last 50 Metres of the Straight, Jockey Arshad Alam bumped me, which cost me a certain Race". The Stewards held an enquiry immediately one after the other, after the Race and examined the Jockeys concerned. After due deliberations, the Stewards decided to overrule both the objections.
 
Jockey Keanen G Steyn, the rider of DAYLITE was fined Rs.2,000/- for repeatedly changing course, in the last 300 Metres of the Race.
 
Jockey Arshad Alam, the rider of CLASS IS CLASS was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to FLASH DRIVE (P P Dhebe), on his inside, during the closing stages of the Race.
 
Surprise sample was taken for analysis from the winner, dk b g DAYLITE.
