PROTECTOR OF PARIS (Sahanawaz) got loose, dropped the rider on the way to the Starting Gates and fell, thereby sustaining injury on left fore forearm; Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter's Orders; Trainer Mr. S M Johnson was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

KING OF THE TURF (Irvan Singh) got loose, bolted on the track and it was subsequently observed to have sustained large bruise on right shoulder;  Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter's Orders; Trainer Mr. Md. HIMALAYA (P P Dhebe) got kicked by another horse on the way to the Starting Gates and subsequently,  it was  observed to be trotting lame on right hind; Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter's Orders; Trainer Mr. B K Narendra [deputizing for Trainer Mr. M Eshwer] was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

IMITATION GAME (N Tauseef Ahmed) jumped awkwardly 'inwards', at the start.

AMAZING (S R Santosh Kumar) jumped awkwardly 'outwards', at the start.

OCEANA (R Anand) jumped awkwardly 'outwards', thereby, inconveniencing COUNTRY'S SHER (L Prashant) on the outside, at the start.
