As Jockey N Tauseef Ahmed, the declared rider of SCORPENE, was certified medically unfit to ride after his ride in the Fourth Race, permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Md. Sajid Qureshi to substitute Jockey Ajeet Kumar to ride SCORPENE in place of the declared rider.
 
As Jockey S R Santosh Kumar, the declared rider of GOOD EARTH was certified medically unfit to ride after his ride in the Sixth Race and as no suitable substitute Jockey was available, permission was granted to Trainer Mr. P C Tejaswi to withdraw his charge, GOOD EARTH, from the above Race.
 
Trainer Mr. S Santosh Rao and Jockey M Naveen were questioned regarding the running and riding of KING SMILE in the above Race; Trainer stated that (a) he had instructed the rider to take a good jump and be in the third, or fourth position & ride out and to do his best in the straight; (b) as per his observation, the horse took an awkward jump, whereby, the rider lost the position; (c) the pace became too fast and his charge could not cope up and (d) after entering the straight, the Jockey came on the outside and could only finish Fifth; The rider, when questioned, corroborated the statement of the Trainer as regards the riding instructions, added that (a) his mount took an awkward jump and he could not keep the pace with the other runners; and  (b) after the bend, he moved from inside to outside and rode out, but, could only finish Fifth; Their explanations were noted.
 
STAR LAGOON (M Madhu Babu) ran detached from the field; Trainer Mr. Rakesh was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.
 
HONEY QUEEN (Arshad Alam) sustained injury above left hock.
 
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner, b m PRECIOUS SCRIPT.
