Jockey Arshad Alam, the rider of FREE PORT, reported that his mount was hanging 'out' after entering the straight; The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and it was reported that examination of the mouth of the horse revealed sharp molars; Hence, Trainer Mr. Dinesh Pujar [deputizing for Trainer Mr. Neil Darashah] was fined Rs.3,000/- for his negligence [first infringement]. 

An enquiry has been opened by the Stewards into the conduct of Jockey Y S Srinath in the paddock and at the weighing Room, after the above Race and ordered the Stipendiary Stewards to do the needful. 

NANHIPARI (P Trevor) sustained large clipped injury on left hind tendon.
