Racing Incidents

TRAVIESO (M J Gautham Raj Urs) slightly veered out, soon after jumping out of the Starting Gate.

Jockey A S Peter, the rider of GIFTED THEA, placed Second by the Judge, lodged an objection against Jockey S R Santosh Kumar, the rider of NIKKA, placed First by the Judge, for 'in the last 150 Metres, the winner cut across me sharply, whereby, I had to stop riding and got unbalanced, which cost me a certain Race'; The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the Race and examined the Jockeys concerned; After deliberations, they decided to overrule the objection. 

Jockey S R Santosh Kumar, the rider of NIKKA, was fined Rs.2,000/- for not maintaining a straight course in the last 100 Metres of the Race. 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner, dk b m  NIKKA.
