Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. J Sharavanan to declare Jockey A S Peter to ride his charge, JERSEY BRIDE, in the above Race.

As Jockey M Ayyar, the declared rider of ASCENDENCY, was certified medically unfit to ride, permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Prashanth Pawar to substitute Jockey Nazar Alam to ride ASCENDENCY, in place of Jockey, M Ayyar, the declared rider.

Trainer Mr. J Sharavanan and Jockey R Ajay Kumar were questioned as to the running and riding of b g STAR HOLIDAY, in the above Race. The Trainer stated as follows; a) His charge was playing up in the stalls and this was the first time that his charge was displaying such behaviour and had never behaved like this before; b) After the Race his rider came and told him that his charge did not show any initial speed and despite brushing up his mount and despite niggling it, it did not pick up speed at all. Jockey R Ajay Kumar, while corroborating the statement of the Trainer also stated that after the start, as his mount did not show any speed and despite his best efforts to get the horse going, it did not pick up at all. After entering the Straight it was drifting out slightly and he had to tap it with his hand to correct it. While noting their explanations, Jockey R Ajay Kumar was reprimanded for using his hand to tap the horse.

It was reported after the Race that MOROCCAN (R Shiva Kumar) pulled up lame on left hind; Trainer Mr. M Bobby was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
