AIRVELOCITY (Ahsan Qureshi) jumped awkwardly outwards and inconvenienced the horses on its outside viz. COUNTRY’S THUNDER (R Shiva Kumar) and GAME BOY (S Imran), on its ouside, soon after jumping out of the starting gates. 

Jockey S Imran, the rider of GAME BOY, reported that he accidentally lost his whip, soon after jumping out of the starting gates. 

At the behest of the Stipendiary Stewards, a Stewards enquiry was held into the incident where it was observed that the saddle on the horse, COUNTRY’S DELIGHT (H Zeeshan), placed first by the Judge, shifted in front, passing the 900 Meters and as such, the lead bag fell off the horse, approaching the 400 Metres. The saddle was examined and found to be in serviceable condition. When the rider, Jockey H Zeeshan presented himself for weighing in, he weighed “in” 5 Kgs less as compared to the weight that he “weighed out” with. After due enquiry and after repeatedly viewing the CCTV footage of the above Race, with particular reference to the fall of the “Lead Bag”, the Stewards felt that the fall of the “Lead Bag” was purely accidental. The Stewards also felt that this could have materially affected the result of the Race. Therefore, the Stewards, exercising their rights under Rule No 31 (a) of the Mysore Race Club Ltd. Rules of Racing, decided to declare COUNTRY'S DELIGHT (H Zeeshan) a “Non Starter” from the above Race and declare bets with all Totalizator Pools and also bets with Bookmakers, pertaining to the horse, COUNTRY'S DELIGHT, to be refunded. The revised order of placing was declared as follows;
