Racing Incidents

MASHA (B Harish) was examined by the Club’s Veterinary Officer on 1st September, 2022 at 11:15 A. M and was found to be suffering from left fore cannon cellulitis with large non healing wound due to an old injury on left cannon. Hence it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds. An enquiry is being held into the above incident. 

Jockey R N Darshan, the rider of SAMAY BALWAAN reported that his mount stopped galloping after entering the straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination, but, no abnormality was reported. However, Trainer Mr. Surender G T was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again. 

It was reported after the race that PARKER (S John) apparently lost its right hind shoe during the race and also sustained clipped injury on right hind bulb of heel.
