TAREK (Shamaz Shariff) swerved to the left, soon after jumping out of the Starting Gates and lost few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer M Bobby was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in One Jump Out on a Starting Gate practice day.

An objection was lodged by Jockey L Alex Rozario, the rider of CEFFINA, placed Second by the Judge against Jockey K Sai Kiran, the rider of CRIMSON FIRE placed First by the Judge for, “From the last 300 Metres the winner came and bumped me again inside the final 200 he took me out and again in the final Metres the winner kept on whipping repeatedly which cost me a certain race”.

The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the Race and examined the Jockeys concerned. After due deliberations and after repeatedly watching the CCTV replay of the Race, the Stewards decided to Overrule the objection.

Jockey K Sai Kiran, the rider of CRIMSON FIRE was fined Rs.3,000/- for not exercising sufficient control under the use of the whip thereby allowing his mount to drift out and taking out CEFFINA (L Alex Rozario) from the 350 Metres till passing the winning post. 

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b m CRIMSON FIRE.
