Racing Incidents

Jockey S Antony Raj, the rider of DIVA IN GOLD reported that his mount was trying to run out in the straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. However, Trainer Mr. Surender G T was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again. 
 
Jockey Dhanu Singh Deora, the rider of VIJAYA SURABHI reported that his mount was hanging ‘in’ in the final 400 Metres of the race. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but due to its highly fractious behaviour it could not be examined. Trainer Mr. P C Tejaswi was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

Jockey A Ayaz Khan, the rider of MASTERS MIND, was questioned by the Stipendiary Stewards pertaining to his riding on his mount, in the above Race. The Jockey reported that his mount was hanging ‘in’ after entering the straight and as such, he could not ride out in the closing stages of the Race. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and the examination of the mouth of the horse revealed sharp molars. Hence Trainer Mr. M Bobby was fined Rs.3,000/- for his negligence (1st Infringement).
