As Jockey Shamaz Shareef, the declared rider of SPIRITUALQUEEN was certified medically unfit to ride after his fall in the second race. Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Bobby M to substitute Jockey Shreyas Singh to ride SPIRITUALQUEEN in place of the declared rider.
 
LUCKY POINT (Koshi Kumar) was extremely fractious on the way to the Starting gates and refused to come near the Gates. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders.

EWANDOR (Angad) was extremely fractious, reared up and sat back in the gates for a considerable period of time. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders.

UNIMAGINABLE (Ram Nandan Manjhi) planted and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. P C Tejaswi was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in One Mock Race on a Race day on the race track.

Jockey R Vaibhav, the rider of N R I BLUE was fined Rs.1,000/- for coming in sharply with complete disregard of the field before passing the red marker post.

Trainer Mr. Feroz M Khan was questioned by the Stipendiary Stewards for the improved performance of his charge COUNTRY’S LIGHT, ridden by Jockey Arshad Alam, the winner of the above Race as compared to its previous run in Race No.29 i.e The Mekedaatu Plate (About) 1200 Metres, for horses rated 40 to 65, 5 years old and over run on 7th December, 2022 when ridden by the same Jockey it ran unplaced. The Trainer stated as follows; a) His charge was running in a lower class as compared to its previous run; b) He had adopted to run it with the Tongue Strap this time; and c) That it was running in an age group race. The Trainer’s explanations were noted for future reference.

SPIRITUALQUEEN (Shreyas Singh) sustained injury on left hind outer cannon.

MYSTICAL MERLIN (Akash Agarwal) sustained injury inside right hind fetlock.
