It was observed that AGAINST ALL ODDS (Arshad Alam) accidentally jumped over the crossover path near the 1600 Metres. 

Jockey Likith Appu K G, the rider of KUSHAQ was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to ROYAL THUNDER (A Ayaz Khan) on his inside along the rails approaching the 350 Metres. 

At the instance of Trainer Mr. Rakesh, the Stipendiary Stewards immediately opened an enquiry into the running and riding of Jockey B Darshan Anthony on his mount O KANHAIYA. Both Trainer Mr. Rakesh and Jockey B Darshan Anthony were given the opportunity to express themselves. The Stipendiary Stewards on their own observations seeing the race run and viewing the same on CCTV and hearing both Trainer Rakesh and Jockey B Darshan Anthony decided to fine Jockey B Darshan Anthony Rs.3,000/- in that after a sluggish start Jockey B Darshan Anthony made no serious effort to imrove his position for a greater part of the race thereby putting his ride to disadvantage.

Trainer M. C D Monnappa was questioned regarding the improved performance of his charge SUNLIGHT STORM ridden by Jockey Shreyas Singh in the above race as compared to its previous run in Race No. 39 i.e The Brig. C D Mohan Memorial Plate – Div I (About) 1400 Metres, for horses rated 20 to 45 run on Wednesday, 14th December 2022 when ridden by the same Jockey it ran unplaced. The Trainer stated as follows: a) that Jockey Shreyas Singh advised him that he would perform much better at longer distances and b) As there was a race available over the 1800 Metres he decided to run his charge in the above race and it performed well to his surprise and won. His explanations were noted for future reference. 

Jockey A Ayaz Khan, the rider of ROYAL THUNDER was fined Rs.2,000/- for not following the weighing ‘in’ procedure in that he set aside his saddle on the table before weighing ‘in’. He was informed that a similar manner of occurrence would entail him being reported to the Stewards for strict disciplinary action.
